build rc speed boat
My first rc speed boat build from balsa wood. two boats homemade; deep "v" botton with surface drive shaft and, a flat botton with jet drive. surface drive shaft setup: 2430 7200kv 4 poles. Here is my boat that i built for my a-level project in dt. the specs are as follows; motor - 3000kv mystery brushless outrunner speed controller - 30a mystery prop - 26mm graupner k hull - 34cm. My new homemade 52" rc catamaran speed boat. i've build it with 3mm plywood. and araldite epoxy glue.its a electric brushless setup. although i wanted to fit a petrol engine.. this is the build.

I am trying to get into rc boats. i have a friend who has done alot with rc planes and they are helping me. i only have a limited budget so i would rather build than buy. problem is i cannot find any plans for building a rc speedboat. anybody aware of any that i can use to help get me started. thanks, d. jun 23, 2003, 03:20 am #2;.
